Nineteen.

week nineteen of fifty-two.

We went to a Gender Reveal party where our dear friends learned the gender of their baby-to-be in grand fashion in front of their entire family. It was so special to be a part of their big news, and the girls especially appreciated the company of other little friends! Everyone chose a necklace (blue or pink) when they arrived to place their vote. Amelia (aka: mini-Issac) wants everyone to know that she was right. Ingrid wants everyone to know that she loves cake, balloons, and smiling.

p.s. It's a girl!!

Making lemonade out of windy days and delayed spring weather:

Our back yard has little-to-no shade

but lots and lots of wind

so really, the lack of trees and the excess wind are really perfect

when you are learning how to navigate a kite!

fourteen.

week fourteen of fifty-two.
Amazingly, this is the first week I have been late with my post, but only just by a day.
The fourteenth week of the month went by filled with adventures, but the highlight
for the girls was our belated Easter dinner with Issac's parents, sister, and Khalid.
Egg hunts and "doubled eggs" (deviled eggs) and storybooks.. oh my!
Of course, per usual, we forgot to get a group photo..
but I did capture a couple of gems, but this one is my very favorite:

Every day "Bunny and Me" (or "and me" according to Ingrid) is read at least 300 times.

and two more for good measure:
"I will copy whatever the big people do" - Ingrid

"Cupcake? What cupcake?" - Ingrid
